Privacy policy

The person responsible for your data is Javier Alexis Mendoza Linares, an individual (natural person) doing business, based in Lima, Peru.

This policy covers the website javierotech.com. If I build a site for you that collects data from your own users (for example, bookings or donations), you are responsible for that data and we put it in writing in our work agreement.

• When you browse the website: like any site, the server logs technical data about your visit: your IP address, the date and time, the pages you request, and your browser and device type.
• If you use the Project Planner (the “Start a project” form): your name or creator name, your brand or business name, your email address, the type of site and the features you need, your project description, any links you share, the file you attach (PDF or DOCX, up to 4 MB), your budget range, your timeline and, if you tell me, how you found me.
• If you write to me by email or on social media: your name or username and the content of your message.
• If we work together: your brand information and the materials you give me (texts, logos, images, access), plus the data needed to issue you invoices.

I don't ask for payment details on this website: no payments are made here.

Only attach what's needed. Please avoid sending sensitive data, or other people's data, that isn't needed for your project.

• Reply to you and send you your quote.
• Evaluate and prepare your project and, if we work together, carry it out.
• Keep the website running and secure.
• Comply with legal obligations, such as tax rules.

I don't use your data to send you advertising you haven't asked for, or to build profiles about you.

I process your data based on your consent, which you give by sending me the form or writing to me, and because I need it to handle your request and, if we work together, to fulfil our agreement. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me.

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising tools. The only thing it keeps in your browser is a draft of the Project Planner while the tab is open, so you don't lose what you wrote if you close it by accident; it's deleted when you close the tab or send it. If any of this ever changes, I'll tell you here first and, where the law requires it, I'll ask for your permission.

I don't sell your data. To keep the website and my email working I use third-party services that process data on my behalf:

• Vercel, where the website is hosted.
• My email provider (currently Google), where your messages arrive.
• Resend, which sends the Project Planner emails: your request reaches me and you get a confirmation.
• Cloudflare, which manages the domain and, through Turnstile, checks that whoever sends the Project Planner is a person, not a bot. To do that it looks at technical signals from your browser; it doesn't read what you type in the form.

If on a project I get help from another person I trust (for example, a designer), I only share what's needed for that project. I might also share data with an authority if the law requires me to.

These services may process your data in other countries, such as the United States, different from Peru and from yours. I only share what's needed for them to work.

I keep your inquiry and your data for 2 years from your last contact with me. After that I delete it, unless a rule requires me to keep something longer (for example, tax invoices).

Technical server logs are kept by the hosting provider according to its own retention periods.

I process your data in line with Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) and its regulations. You can ask me at any time to:

• Access the data I hold about you.
• Correct it if it's wrong.
• Delete it (cancellation).
• Object to my using it.
• Withdraw your consent.

If your local law gives you other rights, such as portability or restriction of processing in the European Union, I respect those too.

To exercise them, write to me at hola@javierotech.com telling me what you want. I may ask you to confirm it's you. I'll reply within the deadlines set by law.

If you think I haven't handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with Peru's National Authority for Personal Data Protection or with the authority in your country.

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and I limit access to what you send me to the people who need it for your project. Even so, no system is 100% secure, which is why I only ask for and keep what's necessary.

My services are for people over 18. I don't knowingly collect data from minors; if you think I received some, write to me and I'll delete it.

The footer links to my profiles on X, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn. Those are third-party sites with their own privacy policies, which this policy doesn't cover.

If I change something important (for example, if I add analytics), I'll update this page and the date above.
